PCA AWARD WINNING COMPANY

Japanese Knotweed Ltd has been named a Contractor of the Year by national trade body, the Property Care Association (PCA). We were announced the winner of the Invasive Weed category for larger businesses in October 2021.

Sales and Marketing Director at Japanese Knotweed Ltd, Ben Lindley, said: “As a safety-first contractor, that takes pride in our customer focus with the fantastic ethos among our dedicated staff, we are delighted to have been named Contractor of the Year by the PCA. This award recognises the hard work and professionalism of the business as a whole and reflects our aspiration to be a recognised and go-to company for invasive weed management across the UK. We hold several industry accreditations and employ skilled and qualified staff who support our commitment to providing the highest level of customer service standards and industry expertise.”

As well as providing surveystreatment, and removal services for Japanese knotweed, we also control all other invasive non-native weeds such as Giant hogweed and Himalayan balsam, alongside native invasive species such as Horsetail.

Every autumn the PCA presents ‘Contractor of the Year’ awards to members based on their annual audit.

Steve Hodgson, Chief Executive of the PCA, said: “The talent and skills within our industry are hugely important to the economy, to the construction of vital infrastructure and to home-owners across the UK. I’d like to personally congratulate the team at Japanese Knotweed Ltd for the professionalism and quality service that is recognised with this award.”

Established in 2010, Japanese Knotweed Ltd has 50+ staff and operates across the UK, with branch offices in London, Manchester, and Southampton.
